High speed on the Panasonic AF-100?

Can you over crank the AF100?  If so to what frame rate ?


Is this much better then doing it in post, using something like Twixtor?

Hey Julie,


You can over-crank the AF-100 to 60fps.


Although I have recently seen some pretty cool BMX bike videos shot on the Canon 60D and slowed down to 2000 fps in post, the examples are far and few between.


It is always better to record as many “real” frames as you possibly can, rather then rely on post frame interpolation. That is why footage shot at 1000fps on a Phantom camera always looks cleaner then footage shot at 60fps post interpolated to 1000fps.
